TS Corse raddoppia: due vetture per il team lombardo nella F.Renault 2.0 ALPS 2014

Già confermato il nome di Pietro Peccenini

Dopo avere fatto lo scorso anno il proprio ingresso nella Formula Renault 2.0 ALPS, il team TS Corse è pronto a raddoppiare. La squadra lombarda che fa capo al dinamico team manager Stefano Turchetto, ha infatti confermato che nel 2014 schiererà non una, ma due monoposto nella serie targata Fast Lane Promotion. La prima di queste verrà nuovamente affidata a Pietro Peccenini, classe ’73, che è un po’ da considerare il “pilota senior” per eccellenza della categoria. L’esperto driver milanese rinnova dunque la sfida ai giovanissimi, dopo essersi messo in luce nel corso del 2013 in più di un’occasione.
Ma quest’anno Peccenini non sarà più solo… «Assieme a lui, punteremo contemporaneamente ad avere in squadra un giovane. -­ ha dichiarato Turchetto -­ La Formula Renault 2.0 ALPS è il miglior campionato per crescere. Attualmente ci sono diversi nomi in ballo e a breve potremo annunciare chi guiderà la seconda vettura». «I miei obiettivi sono “ambiziosissimi”. L’anno scorso è stato per me tutto nuovo, per di più in un campionato di altissimo livello. Quest’anno ritengo di essere preparato, anche psicologicamente, e poter quindi fare meglio del 2013 puntando, perché no, alle prime dieci posizioni. Ho iniziato da grande, ma ho l’esperienza di un rookie. Però so di potere “tirare” ancora qualcosa da me stesso. La Formula Renault 2.0 ALPS è una delle scuole più “severe” per potere imparare ed è una sfida che accetto, una volta di più, ben volentieri». -­ è stato invece il commento di Peccenini.

Il conto alla rovescia per il primo dei sette appuntamenti della stagione è giunto intanto a tre mesi esatti. Il “via” da Imola nel fine settimana del 6 aprile, per poi affrontare nell’ordine le successive trasferte di Pau e Red Bull Ring (11 e 25 maggio), Spa-­Francorchamps (8 giugno), Monza (6 luglio), Mugello (7 settembre) e in conclusione Jerez (5 ottobre).
