Scatta da Imola il 2014 di Peccenini nella F.Renault 2.0 Alps

Semaforo verde al 2014 di Pietro Peccennini.

Il pilota milanese, classe 1973 ma non da molto sulle scene del motorsport internazionale, apre la stagione a Imola dal 4 al 6 aprile nel primo e “affollato” round della Formula Renault 2.0 Alps. Tutto pronto dunque in casa TS Corse, la scuderia con a capo Stefano Turchetto con cui Peccenini ha già disputato il campionato nel 2013.

Dopo un lungo inverno e diversi test sulla monoposto del team, Pietro si getta di nuovo nella mischia sfidando i
numerosi e agguerriti giovani rookie dell’automobilismo iscritti alla serie. Le due gare di 25 minuti più un
giro previste nel weekend sul tracciato intitolato a Enzo e Dino Ferrari saranno trasmesse in diretta tv in
web-streaming sul sito internet ufficiale www.renaultsportitalia.it: un’ulteriore opportunità promozionale
per tutte le partnership instaurate con il pilota e la sua scuderia.
Venerdì 4 aprile la stagione 2014 del pilota di Milano sarà inaugurata dalle verifiche e da due sessioni di
prove libere. Sabato giornata cruciale con due qualifiche (alle 10.15 e 10.50) e gara-1 alle 17. Il weekend
di sfide si chiude domenica con gara-2 in programma alle 14.15, evento che permetterà un primo bilancio
sull’impegno con cui Peccenini affronta uno dei campionati più selettivi del panorama mondiale del
motorsport. Dopo la tappa in terra emiliana, l’Alps sarà di scena a Pau, Zeltweg, Spa, Monza, Mugello e
Jerez.
“Imola è leggenda dell’automobile e dei suoi eroi – dichiara Peccenini -. Sono passati 20 anni da quel GP
maledetto e anche io porterò il mio fiore per Ratzenberger e Senna. Detto questo, 40 piloti al via! La sfida
è perfetta, per ciascuno di noi e per il motorsport. Siamo concentrati e motivati per questo inizio di
stagione su una pista vera, completa e selettiva perché tecnica e veloce. Correre qui è un’esperienza pura
e autentica. Io sono pronto a prenderle e, proprio per questo, a darle!”
