Pietro Peccenini migliora nei test ed è pronto per la “finale” di Jerez

Aveva esordito a Jerez de la Frontera nel 2013 in ottica 2014, ma nelle scorse settimane, in una nuova sessione di prove, Pietro Peccenini ha notevolmente migliorato i riscontri fatti segnare in quella prima occasione sempre al volante della monoposto di Formula Renault 2.0 della scuderia TS Corse ed è pronto per il gran finale della F. Renault 2.0 Alps, in programma proprio sui tecnici 4423 metri del tracciato spagnolo il 4 e 5 ottobre.

Peccenini torna dunque agli impegni più puramente “racing” del competitivo campionato internazionale con l’obiettivo di confermare i notevoli progressi fatti segnare nell’ultima due giorni di test sempre affiancato dal team manager Stefano Turchetto, continuando così a puntare sulla propria crescita agonistica ed esperienza sportiva insieme alla scuderia.

Le due gare di 25 minuti più un giro saranno trasmesse in diretta tv in web-streaming sul sito internet ufficiale www.renaultsportitalia.it. Il weekend spagnolo scatta sabato mattina con due turni di prove libere, subito seguite dalle qualifiche, che si disputano a partire dalle 15.05. Domenica 5 ottobre i due emozionanti atti conclusivi della stagione: semaforo verde di gara-1 alle 10.50, mentre gara-2 si disputa con start alle 15.

“Nei test di metà settembre abbiamo migliorato nettamente i precedenti riscontri – commenta Peccenini -; soprattutto, malgrado abbiamo sofferto un po’ di sovrasterzo e dovuto ‘interpretare’ le mutevoli condizioni meteo, abbiamo lavorato bene e capito alcune problematiche di assetto. Non è soltanto una questione cronometrica: aver migliorato nell’analisi del comportamento della vettura ci ha rinfrancato e le sensazioni in vista dell’impegno spagnolo sono positive. Jerez, è un tracciato davvero impegnativo, con alcune curve molto tecniche. Bellissimo da guidare e interpretare. Sarà una grande sfida. La affrontiamo sempre con l’ambizione non tanto del risultato ma appunto di progredire nella ricerca del setup e nei tempi; possiamo limare un altro mezzo secondo, speriamo di iniziare bene fin dalle prove libere.”
