PIETRO PECCENINI À L’ASSAUT DES V DE V ENDURANCE SERIES

A 41 ans, Pietro Peccenini se lance un nouveau challenge : conquérir le V de V. Le pilote Milanais, qui avait fait une apparition l’an passé à Magny-Cours pour la finale du Challenge Monoplace, revient cette fois-ci pour une saison complète.

Pietro Peccenini reste fidèle au team TS Corse, qui lui fournit une Formule Renault 2.0. Le programme monoplace comporte six épreuves (Barcelone, Mugello, Motorland-Aragon, Dijon, Paul-Ricard, Magny-Cours) et, fort de son expérience, l’Italien espère bien jouer aux avant-postes : « Commencer à courir à 37 ans relevait déjà du challenge. Nous avons déjà cinq saisons à notre actif en Formule Junior (2010), Formule 2.0 Light (2011), Challenge Formula 2.0 Italie (2012) et Alps (2013, 2014). Cet hiver, j’ai particulièrement travaillé sur la condition physique et sur le pilotage avec le soutien de BRM chez Ottobiano. J’ai effectué pas mal de tests ce mois-ci pour me préparer au mieux. Le moment est venu désormais de me faire une place parmi les meilleurs. » Pour sa première participation en V de V, Pietro Peccenini s’était classé 15e, 6e et 9e aux courses de Magny-Cours.
