Peccenini Testa Per L’ultima Del VdeV A Magny-Cours

Il pilota milanese sarà impegnato in Francia il 6-7 ottobre in una due-giorni preparatoria per l’atteso finale del Challenge Monoplace sulla F.Renault 2.0 della scuderia TS Corse

Milano, 5 ottobre 2015. L’occasione è ghiotta per Pietro Peccenini nell’ultimo round del Challenge Monoplace del VdeV in programma a Magny-Cours nel fine settimana dell’11 ottobre. Il pilota milanese classe 1973 si giocherà la top-5 del campionato internazionale rivolto alle monoposto e può mettere il sigillo definitivo alla categoria dei gentlemen drivers. Per preparare al meglio il gran finale, l’alfiere della TS Corse “rispolvera” la F.Renault 2.0 del team lombardo diretto da Stefano Turchetto per prendere parte alle due giornate di test che sempre sul circuito francese anticipano il weekend di gara martedì 6 e mercoledì 7 ottobre.

Peccenini commenta così prima dell’impegnativa due-giorni di prove: “Ci aspetta una settimana ‘full immersion’ con tutto il team, una bella opportunità per continuare a progredire insieme. A Magny-Cours abbiamo girato lo scorso anno con la monoposto nuova e nel 2013 con il modello precedente, quindi è una pista dove ho già percorso molti chilometri. I test saranno importanti soprattutto perché concentreremo il lavoro sulla percorrenza. Ricordo che soffrivamo un po’ nelle esse e nel lungo curvone iniziale, che caratterizzano un circuito molto tecnico. Quest’anno abbiamo migliorato molto le staccate, ora dobbiamo lavorare di più sulla percorrenza, oltre che su messa a punto e setup, perché anche nell’ultimo impegno al Nurburgring ci siamo resi conto che c’è ancora margine”.
