Peccenini Senza Soste: Test a Le Castellet e Spa

Il Challenge Monoplace del VdeV si ferma per oltre un mese ma il pilota milanese continua il lavoro sulla F.Renault 2.0 della TS Corse in vista dell’appuntamento di Alcaniz a fine maggio.

 

Il super weekend vissuto al Mugello il 26 aprile per la terza tappa del Challenge Monoplace della serie internazionale VdeV non accontenta Pietro Peccenini. Con due intense giornate di test a Le Castellet e a Spa il pilota milanese classe 1973, ma da sole cinque stagioni nel circus del motorsport, continua il lavoro su tecnica, esperienza e messa a punto dell’auto al volante della F.Renault 2.0 del team lombardo TS Corse. Il campionato tornerà soltanto a fine mese ad Alzaniz, così Peccenini ne approfitta per guidare per la prima volta al Paul Ricard, pista che ritroverà proprio nel Challenge e dove sabato 9 maggio ha macinato tanti chilometri nella giornata organizzata da Sport Promotion. Bis con la disputa di tutti i turni disponibili anche in Belgio la settimana scorsa, quando a Spa pilota e squadra hanno proseguito la preparazione in vista della parte centrale della stagione.
Commenta Pietro alla luce delle due giornate di prove: “Abbiamo percorso molti chilometri senza particolari problemi, effettuando anche un paio di run su gomme nuove con ottimi riscontri in entrambi i circuiti. Il lavoro è stato molto proficuo e soprattutto, insieme al team, funzioniamo bene come mai prima e quindi confrontarsi con ingegneri e staff diventa un piacere. Inoltre il lavoro su messa a punto e setup è sempre più soddisfacente: riuscire a fornire feedback più precisi ed efficaci è una bella conquista per un pilota e mi dà fiducia. Sotto questo aspetto sto migliorando molto” .
