Le Castellet, 1° giorno Defourny detta legge

Continua la cavalcata invernale di Max Defourny. Dopo le brillanti prestazioni di Alcaniz la scorsa settimana, il belga del team ART Junior si è imposto anche nella prima delle due giornate previste per le prove collettive del Paul Ricard. Con il miglior tempo del mattino Max ha preceduto nella classifica riepilogativa Lando Norris, più veloce di tutti al pomeriggio con la Tatuus del team Kaufmann. Chiude al terzo posto lo svizzero di casa Tech 1, Hugo De Saadler che è tornato in azione dopo una breve pausa, come anche il transalpino Valentin Hasse-Clot, che con il team di Mark Burdett non è però andato oltre il sedicesimo tempo. Protagonista con Fortec nella stagione 2015, l’indiano Jehan Daruvala sembra invece intenzionato a passare sotto le insegne dei tedeschi di Kaufmann, con cui ha ottenuto il quarto tempo di giornata, davanti al debuttante francese Sacha Fenestraz, con Tech 1.

Confermato con AVF invece il portoghese Henrique Chaves, mentre ha continuato il lavoro con Fortec il brasiliano Bruno Baptista, al fianco di Vasily Romanov. Giuliano Alesi, figlio dell’ex-ferrarista Jean, ha ottenuto l’ottavo posto con ART Junior. Due le squadre italiane presenti a Le Castellet. JD Motorsport, che ha visto in James Allen il miglior alfiere con il settimo crono, ha portato in pista anche il belga Ghislain Cordeel ed il russo Alexey Korneev. TS Corse ha invece confermato la pluriennale partnership con Pietro Peccenini, al cui fianco è sceso in pista Alessandro Buran. Previste domani in azione 24 monoposto grazie all’aggiunta di Xavier Lloveras in casa AVF, mentre continua a latitare il team Koiranen. Voci sempre più insistenti danno in via di chiusura il programma 2.0 per la compagine finlandese, mentre godono di piena salute la GP3 ed i vari campionati nazionali di Formula 4.
