Antonelli vince in Gara 2 a Magione

Il pilota italiano è riuscito a resistere agli attacchi finali di un deciso Longhi. terzo Jorge Bas.

Marco Antonelli è stato splendido vincitore di Gara 2 della Formula Abarth sul tracciato italiano di magione, in cui ha dominato la corsa dal primo all’ultimo giro, non senza penare per qualche attacco portato da Piero Longhi nei giri finali della corsa.

Al secondo posto si è classificato proprio Piero Longhi, vincitore di gara 1 e autore di una splendida rimonta, che lo ha portato dall’ottavo posto sino a insidiare Antonelli per la vittoria finale. Terzo posto per Jorge Bas, anch’egli autore di una gara tutta d’attacco, conclusa con un meritato podio.

Al via, Antonelli ha preso subito la testa della corsa, con Zanasi e Longhi subito alle sue spalle. In partenza alcune vetture sono rimaste ferme sullo schieramento, tra cui quelle diVincenzo Iacoianni e Renato Papaleo. Grande rimonta al primo giro di Alex Perullo, partito ultimo e subito in Top Ten all’uscita della Safety Car, al termine del primo passaggio sul traguardo delle monoposto.

A quattordici minuti dal termine di Gara 2, Simone Gatto ha passato Brancalente e ha conquistato la quarta posizione, con Bas a replicare la manovra del nostro connazionale e salire quinto. Longhi ha invece inziato ad attaccare Zanasi, permettendo a Gatto e Bas di avvicinarsi ai due in lotta per il secondo posto finale.

A nove minuti dal termine Zanasi ha compiuto un testacoda, probabilmente a causa delle manovre di disturbo (corrette) di Longhi, che ha così conquistato la seconda posizione e la possibilità di poter raggiungere Antonelli e sfidarlo per la vittoria finale. Pochi minuti più tardi, Gatto è andato in testacoda alla curva Merzario, permettendo a Bas di cogliere il terzo posto virtuale, che poi ha mantenuto sino alla fine delle ostilità. Alex Perullo ha poi terminato la corsa in quinta posizione, dopo esser partito dall’ultima fila, mentre Antonelli ha tenuto alle proprie spalle Longhi e Bas.
